Check out this little cutie-pie! We just celebrated her nine-month birthday at the beginning of November and I can't believe that soon we'll be having her first birthday party!
She started crawling at about 7.5 months and has not looked back since! She was tentative at first, but after about a day we renamed her Lightning McQueen (or as Benjamin says, "Emma the Queen").
She is so fast! And like most females, when she sees something she wants, she goes after it. At that point, very little can stop her except for a parent swooping in and picking her up. Otherwise, whatever is at the end of her radar is about to be drooled on, banged to death or thrown halfway across the room. :)
In the picture below, Daddy had just left for work and she couldn't figure out why she couldn't go with him. She is a Daddy's girl for sure - she lights up each day when he gets home from work!
And, getting into all the toys...she has a knack for crawling over just as Benjamin and I have carefully sorted everything into the proper bins...
Oh, and the puzzle corner. Emma Claire LOVES the puzzle corner. This is what it looks like before she arrives...

What a mess! Apparently I've got to get a better organizing system. :)
