Pumpkin Patch 2009

In early October, we headed out to Athens to the pumpkin farm. It was our second year in a row to actually pick a pumpkin from a real pumpkin patch and we had a great time!

And of course, this year, we had a new little pumpkin with us...
Now, which is the cutest, sweetest, roundest little pumpkin in this picture? :)

Apparently when your parents are yelling, "Smile! Say cheese!" that really means "look at the camera with your most serious face ever."

After picking our pumpkins, we took a ride on the hay ride and although this picture makes it look like we took a trip through the parking lot, it really was a lovely ride through the entire farm.
Of course, the children were a little too distracted by each other to enjoy the view...

After the hay ride, we went over to see the animals. I think this was the highlight of Benjamin's day. He loved petting the goats...

But especially loved chasing the rooster!

Daddy and Benjamin rode the bikes around the hay bales...

And Emma Claire enjoyed cheering them on...

And of course, was extra cute all day long!

Halloween pictures coming soon!
